“God who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your resources and increase the harvest of your righteousness. You will be enriched in every way for great generosity, which through us will produce thanksgiving to God . . .” 2 Corinthians 9:10, 11
RLC Foundation Purpose
The purpose of the RLC Foundation is to plant seeds for new ministries that enhance the Lord's work. These seeds are nurtured and grown to maturity by the RLC Congregation. It is expected that the start of these ministries would not be possible within the fiscal limits of the church budgets and supporting normal operational costs are outside our charter.
The RLC Foundation finds joy in its ability to financially assist new ministries to further Christ's kingdom, by awarding grants from income generated by endowment funds. However, we want new ministries to be successful. Therefore, a carefully thought-out plan is required before funding approval. Since the RLC Foundation only provides the initial funding, a plan for continued funding or sustainability is required. Ministries should be designed to strengthen RLC's mission and can act as an outreach to the community.
An application is required for funding. The application will assist you in preparing your request for funding. Please email your application and any questions to our email address at: richlandlutheranfoundation@gmail.com. You will receive notice that we have received your application via the email you provide in this application, and then you will be notified of next steps.

How to Give
To make a gift to the Foundation, follow the offering online link.Gifts may be made in many forms: outright gifts, gifts through wills, transfers in trust, gift annuities, life insurance, and life and income trusts. Thus, if the desire to give is present, almost anyone can share in making the Foundation a more effective instrument in carrying out the mission and ministry of our Lord—now and in the future.
Outright Gifts — Gifts can be made in the form of cash, stocks and bonds, life insurance, real estate, or personal property. Donors to United Way may designate the RLC Foundation to receive their gift.
Deferred Gifts — Life-income trusts allow individuals to make substantial gifts to the RLC Foundation while providing income for the life of the donor, spouse, or family, plus estate/income tax savings, depending on the type of trust.
Gifts Through Your Will — A charitable bequest is a familiar estate planning tool. It is a specific provision in your will naming an institution as the recipient of a portion of your estate. Donations made through a will can reduce estate taxes.
For More Information — Since individual situations vary greatly, we recommend you consult with legal and financial advisors to learn more about the specific advantages of any contribution you may be considering to the RLC Foundation. The RLC Foundation Board can assist you in finding professional resources to meet your needs.
