RLC hosts a Neighborhood Block Party in September at Stevens Park. Neighbors receive invitations in the mail to a free family friendly event with carnival games, food, and conversation. If you would like to be part of the team, contact Merri Buck.

Members keep the RLC Food Pantry stocked to help people who need food for a couple of days. Food is available Tuesdays from 1 - 4 PM and Saturdays from 9 AM - Noon. We welcome donations of non-perishable items.

Many of our members have enjoyed volunteering as tutors in our Jefferson Tutoring ministry. Volunteers are paired with a student at Jefferson elementary and spend time tutoring those children in reading and or math. It is a program that has seen improvement in grades and reading levels for the children involved. Many of the tutors find that they are blessed in many ways just spending time and building relationships with the children they tutor. (All volunteers are required to fill out a school district volunteer application/background check form, as well as an RLC background check.)

Our Sewing Bee ladies work on quilts every Wednesday morning that are distributed locally and worldwide for those in need.
